Privacy Protocol

Your voice. Your data. Your keys. Veloquent is architected for absolute privacy by default.

1. Local-First Architecture

Veloquent operates on a "local-first" philosophy. We do not operate a central server that stores your voice recordings, transcriptions, or text history. All processing orchestration happens directly on your device.

2. BYOK (Bring Your Own Key)

When you input your API keys (for Groq, OpenAI, etc.), they are encrypted and stored in your operating system's native secure credential storage (Windows Credential Locker). Veloquent never transmits these keys to our own servers—only directly to the AI providers you select.

3. Telemetry

We collect minimal, anonymous telemetry to identify crashes and performance bottlenecks. You have full control to disable this in the application settings at any time.
