Our Story

"We wanted a place where it was okay to be a work in progress."

Why ShinZen?

In a world obsessed with "arriving," we felt the pressure to have it all figured out. But real growth is messy. It's non-linear. And it's often lonely.

ShinZen started in a living room in Lagos with five friends asking one question: "What are you actually struggling with right now?"

That honest conversation sparked a realization: we don't need more gurus telling us what to do. We need safe spaces to figure it out ourselves, alongside people who get it.

Today, ShinZen is a growing community of peers dedicated to the practice of personal advancement. We believe that by sharing our journeys, we go further.
